Dr. Howton was informative and kind. He treated me gently and I was very impressed with his professionalism without being aloof. I appreciate his knowledge and caring.

Very good about talking about procedures and options. My surgery to remove 1/3 of my Colon went extremely well. Still have the Rx for pain but never had enought pain to need it.
I have been Blessed to have been led by God to this Highly knowledgeable Physician/specialist. In 2010 I needed someone quick and had no idea where to go. Found him in phone book, took note immediately of his Christian symbols. We called and were in to see him within the week. I received excellent care and continue to do so today. He’s just the Greatest person and Doctor ever.
He did a colonoscopy and removed 4 of the 5 polyps. His recommendation was a radical surgery called a right hemycoloectomy. He did not even mention there's another procedure called an endoscopic mucosal resection. It's a specialized colonoscopy. The doctor injects fluid under the large flat polyp. Then a loop cuts and carterizes the polyp. Removed with no loss of colon. Dr. Phanst Kedia in Dallas, TX. Thanks for your expertise!!!!!!
Dr. Howton is one of the most knowledgeable and caring doctors I have ever known. He was fantastic in providing care for my daughter and explained everything in simple terms. Whomever gets him as a physician is getting a good man.
If he suggests he would like to do a colonoscopy make sure you find out how they will code the procedure for insurance coverage before you have it done. They put false information in for my reason for needing a procedure done when it should have been considered a preventable situation. This caused me to have to pay quite a bit out of pocket instead of insurance covering 100% of the procedure. After addressing with them, they refused to change it and do the right thing.
I get excellent care for Dr. Howton. I have been going to him for several years and he has performed 2 surgeries. He is very kind and always listens to my health problems. His office staff are very kind and curtious to me. I always feel reassured when I leave his office.
