Improper billing practices for superficial radiation therapy for basal cell carcinoma. Provider billed for multiple areas receiving radiation when the patient, my husband, only had one area treated. Provider billed for ultrasound guidance when ultrasound guidance is not considered by Medicare to be medically necessary.
