I've been coming to this restaurant weekly with my partner for the past two years. Every time, without fail, has been a highlight of our week. The employees know us by name, they know our usual orders by heart, and they always give us the option of "our" table when it's available. We were told about Howie’s by a friend who lived here over a decade ago—and we’re so glad we listened! The fact that this pizzeria is still going strong 10 years later says a lot. We tried the pizza on our first visit and loved it so much, we came back just two days later to try the pasta—and it did not disappoint. The staff are warm and welcoming, the food is delicious, and the hibiscus cooler is the perfect refreshing touch. A truly great spot with a bookstore and some good dessert places just next door as well.

The pizza is good (and you can get half-and-half, we got half Veggie Works and half Sausage & Roasted Red Onion) but the real sleeper hit is the house-made fresh fettuccine. Delicious with a great chew. The Fettuccine with Mushrooms & Red Chard in particular is a flavorful and filling vegetarian entree. The friendly staff members offer gracious hospitality. No extra fees or surcharges on the bill - I always appreciate honest menu pricing.
Food decent, I personally didn't like the potato pizza recommended by other reviews. Their pesto pasta was good though 😀
