Very rude, horrible customer service. Will never buy from him again.

Sold me the wrong part. Then acted confused when clearly explained why it was wrong and also said well it is what it is. Then after issuing my refund on my debit card, just threw my card on the counter. Horrible customer service. First and last visit.

I phoned looking for an ECM to a 96 GMC Sierra. I speak to Sean who says" Ya we have one, $75.00". Explained nothing to me about warrantee or guarantee. And not once said it needed to be flashed. I am not a mechanic! Upon purchasing it and our driver calling to say it has to be flashed we say we don't want it. Having never left the lot, he charges a $19.00 restocking fee. Seriously?? It never left the property! I truly feel an injustice has been done!

We're sorry for your frustration. All GM ECMs of that era require some programming for them to work - regardless of where you buy the part. We charge a restocking fee to cover our dismantlers labor for pulling parts on demand. We do guarantee the part for 90 days but it won't work without being matched to your vehicle. Sorry for the confusion. Hope you are able to get your GMC going again soon.

Excellent used parts the fact u don't have to go digging through a junk yard to get parts they pull them for you good price

I put the transmission in myself and it turned out to be perfect in every sense of the word! It was afforable and the customer service was great! I would definitely recommend Howell's Auto Parts to others for their auto parts care needs! I'm a real person and true customer who's an up and coming auto mechanic/ technician. I would like to compliment the guys.... Shawn, Dean, Richard All 3 of them answer the phones very courteously and are very helpful. These gentlemen went out of their way to try and assure that the part numbers needed were correctly identified . Thank You I also will be thanking a local parts guy for the referral to Howells.
