I lived happily in this building until the current management company came in around January of 2018. Do not rent here. This company repeatedly told us one thing to our faces and did another behind our backs. We were repeatedly disrespected and micromanaged; given less than 24 hours notice for your apartment being shown or not told at all, quarterly inspections included ludicrous and overbearing critiques of apartment cleanliness, (kept some cardboard boxes in a corner for future packing boxes and was told I needed to remove... read more
RecommendedWant to shot out Howe place ... I went in to check in availability... and unfortunately can’t get in this year but I will be making sure for next year ... I was greeted by the maintenance team who were very informative about the building history and the office member was extremely pleasant...
Do not rent from this company. Beautiful building previously owned by reliable, HONEST landlady. Corporate takeover of the building has resulted in outrageous nickle & diming, quarterly ‘inspections’ where residents are routinely charged ridiculous cleaning fees arbitrarily. And when it comes to getting back your deposit...management here will exploit you for all that you’re worth gambling on the fact that you won’t take them to small claims court. Shame on you 70 Howe. #howeaboutthat
