I had braces by Dr. Dorfman twice myself and now my daughter has braces from this office. If I would have known ahead of time that Dr. Dorfman was retiring, I probably would not have taken my daughter to see Dr. Dailey. Not that he is a bad Orthodontist, but his staff is something to be desired. Dr. Dorfman was always accommodating and if you needed to be seen for any reason you could just pop in or call ahead and he was glad to see you. Couldn't be any happier with my son's results - Dr.Dorfman is the best! (and Donna has become such a great friend through this process!)
Dr. Dorfman is excellent as well as the hygienists are so pleasant. I've always been pleased when my children go there, however there is a certain staff member at the front desk that I have to make an appointment with and she is absolutely rude. It's as if she doesn't want to accomodate for the time that is most suitable for my children or I to come in. She very much tried to humiliate me in everyway possible. Excellent care and concern for his patients. Always takes time to review the patient's staus with him/her and the parent.
This first thing about Dr. Dorfman's office that struck me was the environment. The dental assistants were always very nice and catered to my comforts. Dr. Dorfman himself was very calm and nice, and always made the trip to the office a pain free and enjoyable experience. I definitely recommend him to anyone looking for an orthodontist.
Very nice staff but towards the end was surprised by the fact that after treatment time went over I would have to pay MORE money to the Dr! First time I had heard of an ortho doing this, and I was not happy. Otherwise, Dr was nice and most of the staff is nice.
