Today I had a disappointing experience with Dr. Kornfeld’s office. After years of bringing both my kids here, we showed up for a scheduled well visit just three minutes late due to unavoidable school traffic. I completely understand the need for punctuality, but given that the appointment was only a few minutes past, I hoped we could have received at least a brief consultation, especially since my son had a rash that may have needed antibiotics. Dr. Kornfeld is truly top notch! He was recommended to us by the NICU nurses at Overlook and we even switched our older child to him and have been very impressed and satisfied. Dr. Kornfeld is very thorough and has a fantastic bedside manner both with our children and with us, he’s patient, kind, knowledgeable, and a straight shooter! I only wish there were more doctors like him in the world A++++
Dr. Kornfeld is a great doctor. And most of the nurses and medical assistants are very friendly and helpful. My 1 star is to the younger front desk lady who never had a good attitude for the whole year we went to the office at 890 Mountain Ave. She made me feel like she hates children or just her job in general. Never smile and always sounds like we are bothering her while all we do is checking in with her.
