Went there a few months ago when I threw my back out. He said, “Since you’re a woman, this is nothing compared to giving birth.” That was extremely weird and sexist. First of all, you have no idea if I plan to give birth or not. Don’t invalidate my pain by comparing it to a hypothetical scenario that I may never encounter in the future. Would not recommend going to this person.
Dr. Luks is five star. He has a very nice bedside manner.He explains everything very well, he has cared for my 14 year-old daughters knee patella dislocation on both knees on separate times and also my13 year old son a sports injury on his ankle.!
I saw Dr. Howard Luks for a possible torn meniscus. He recommended trying conservative treatment first, which I really appreciated. A year later, surgery was needed, and it was very successful. Dr. Luks is skilled, knowledgeable, and truly listens to his patients. I came from out of town, and his team made the whole process simple — from scheduling to medications and supplies. Excellent care all around!
