Not going to go into a lot of detail, but felt a little cheated by the staff. From negotiating the rate, to additional fees, tight rooms, and AC not working, it was hard to give a positive rating.
Got a corner outbuilding room. Supposedly had a Reno, more like an ugly multi-colored facelift with a kicked in bathroom door, cracked lamp, a leaked in ceiling, and it feels like I'm staying in 'the projects' of Chicago. Seems to have a good share of 'less desirable lurking about. In my book it's a miss. Never again!
The beds and room were super comfy and the breakfast was a sit down service so unexpected and a pleasure. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The only downside was the location not the nicest spot but it was ok.
