The rooms were clean, but the phones were non-functional, the furniture was dirty and stained, and the decorative mirror was chipping, giving the room a shabby appearance. The microwave and refrigerator were satisfactory. However, the hotel was severely outdated. The jacuzzi tub was only available in a suite, although it was present in each room, but the jets were not operational. The elevator was unsafe. This establishment is suitable for a brief one-night stay.
Rooms clean. showers hot. staff friendly and accommodating. free breakfast. can’t beat it for the price! Negative-Building is old but, it’s a Howard Johnson so, i expected it to be old/classic!
The reviews on Google are 50/50 so I was a little conflicted. But for a trip on a budget, this place has everything you need. The aesthetics could turn someone off if they're looking for something a little more glamorous, but the rooms were a great clean. Very comfortable. I'd stay here again if I was in the area. You get what you pay for and if you looking to stay somewhere in Williamsburg would you check in and savings aren't in alignment to get an Airbnb or at a more expensive hotel.
