I just went there to visit my friend she's here staying at Howard Johnson's and the room was pretty nice it's very modern right at the Naval Base so very convenient and there's a Food Lion Taco Bell other stores right now
The staff was the worst. Not very helpful after the reservation was already done. Asked for a deposit and only returned 30 out of 50 that was put down and the room was cleaned by my wife before we left so there was no reason for them to short me like that. All around bad experience. I will go out of my way to avoid this hotel again.
I'm not sure why there is so many negative reviews on this hotel. Stayed there two nights. The rooms were very clean no bugs very friendly staff.
