This is now a motel 6. But they honored our reservation for Howard Johnson's. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They are updating and we got to stay in the updated area and it was nice. We will be staying there again.
The exterior of the building looks a bit scary. The check in was a bit slow. We came about 1 hour before check in but room wasn't ready. When we came back an hour later the room was ready. No elevator in the building. Our room was on the second floor. We had to drag all of our stuff up the stairs unfortunately. We were pleasantly surprised by the room. It had been nicely renovated.
