Altho Google maps calls this place "Howard Johnson by Wyndam Place" there is no signage outside to confirm that. It all says, Red Roof Inn, for both buildings. The hotel is an old style that has been renovated. Our flooring was the ubiquitous grey vinyl, and it did not feel clean. The location of the hotel was very convenient to walk to fast food: DQ, Waffle House, McDonald's. There was even a convenient set of steps built to link to Bass Pro which was next door, behind the treeline.
Horrible place! It is not a Howard Johnsons. It is a Red Roof Inn and it is a dump. Hair in the shower and on my pillow. Ceiling flaking off. Bathtub chipped. They ran my credit card at check in and now I know why. At check in I told the clerk I was confused because the address shows Howard Johnsons and she was rude and at one point said that I wasn't listening to what she told me to do about swiping my credit card.
