When we arrived, it took the front desk nearly 30 minutes to check us in. Once we finally got to our room, our key cards didn’t work, so we had to go all the way back to get them reprogrammed. The building is very old and runs on a chiller system, which means they only had the heater working. They did offer a portable A/C unit, which we accepted, but it leaked and left a huge puddle in the room. We had to keep using our towels to soak up the water, and even then the floor stayed wet. A good place in Gallup to stay
Building sketchy but room was not bad. Decent breakfast for a low-budget motel.
i had a surprisingly pleasant stay at the hojo in gallup! so much so, that I stayed again on my trip back home. the rooms were clean, breakfast offered a lot more than typical "continental" these days with eggs and sausage. i felt really safe with my lobby facing room- especially since i was traveling alone. highly recommended and a great value for the money spent!
