Eh, if you need just a cheap place to sleep for the night, it's fine. Quiet location. Didn't see any bed bugs and I checked before we entered. Dirty carpet. Room smelled musty. Well worn mattresses. Check out time is 11:00 am, but the cleaner started to open the door as we were getting ready to leave at 9:00 am. But, we slept.
Pleasantly surprised. Nice room, clean, nice bed, nice courtyard. Shower water pressure was crazy high. Would stay again f in area.
The hotel is old and outdated I had to have my sheets changed because of period blood on them plus waited 3 hours for house keeping to change them Never again I would not recommend this hotel to anyone unless you like sleeping on bloody sheets
Bed bugs, bed bugs, bed bugs. I stayed at Howard Johnson on central Ave in albany ny on Sept 3rd and what a nightmarish experience. I woke up in the middle of the night to multiple bed bugs. I took photos of the bed bugs and showed the front desk manager. The manager immediately got defensive and said the bed bugs came with me. I reminded the manager that I am a platinum rewards member and that I've stayed at multiple wyndam hotels and never had experiences or complaints about bed bugs until this stay at Howard Johnson.
