Giving 1 star to a Dr over referrals and wait times is irrelevant to me. I want a knowledgeable and skilled physician! People think they are going to get Patch Adam’s every time. Specialists are very busy Dr’s in general, now add in the fact that Dr Kim works in one of the busiest Hospitals/cities in America. I had a very frustrating experience with this office. My primary care doctor referred me to this specialist, but when I called, they claimed they had not received the referral. I went in person with the referral to schedule an appointment, but the issue persisted. I even contacted my insurance, and they confirmed everything was in order. Despite that, the office continued to give me the same excuse. This kind of disorganization and lack of communication is unacceptable, especially from a clinic located in Beverly Hills. Poor communication, not willing to help explain or understand things, not a great listener, dismissive, and quickly jumped to conclusions. All are terrible traits for a doctor. I had significantly better, more thorough, and more attentive care elsewhere.
I'm reading some of these reviews and pretty shocked. Dr. Kim has been treating me for just about 10 years and is incredible! He is super thorough and he always answers all of my questions. He is a super doctor in my opinion.
Would not refer this DR - rushed the whole experience and was unhelpful. Did not express any concern for symptoms or desire to learn more. Thankfully received second opinions.
