I've been a patient at this practice for some time, but I think I'll be looking elsewhere for a specialist. This is the second consecutive office visit where I've waited almost an hour past my appointed arrival time to see the doctor. He strolled in both times and never said sorry for the wait. However, I overheard him saying sorry for the wait to the patients seen immediately after my visit both times. My time is just as valuable as his other patients' time. Dr. Nyamjom is very kind and extremely thorough. However, waiting 75+ plus minutes every visit is unacceptable.
I made an appointment with them because i was having trouble breathing, the first thing they did when i walked in the door is demand i put on a mask which makes it harder for me to breathe. Makes absolutely no sense to do that to someone already having issues with breathing so i cancelled my appointment, took off mask and left that place immediately. Would not recommend to others
The doctors listened to my sleep issue and she asked questions to try and better understand it. For the at-home sleep study the nurse explained how to use the equipment very well and when I missed my follow-up the office got me rescheduled right away. The office staff always call to remind me about my appointments, and I've never had trouble reaching anyone by phone. You cannot even schedule an appt here bc they won't accept email referrals from anybody or fax referrals from the doctor - even if you don't need one due to having PPO insurance. Since Sept 2025, I have dealt with Scheduler Shanique and tried to schedule a test with the 9/16/2025 doctor referral. My doctor sent her specifically the referral via fax in September, October, November and December and it still has not been received by HCC as of 12/18/2025.
