The doctor practices "orgonomy". It is probably unconventional and I am frankly not knowledgeable about its value. He uses physical manipulation of parts of the body. Again unconventional and I do not understand the purpose nor did I see the value. I am saying this because I was not satisfied, but a potential patient should be able to look this up. Of course, look at the other ratings and call the doctor with questions.

Dr. Chavis is a gifted doctor, and an intelligent and caring human being. I feel I can tell him anything. He has a way of responding, which often resonates. I get the feeling that he is on my side. Both of us are working towards my goal for higher functioning, greater emotional health and fulfillment.
Doctor Chavis helped me get my life back. I have done other therapies and none of them seemed to work. Doctor Chavis's technique is incredible. It's always scary to decide to go speak to someone about your life but once you've been in therapy with Doctor Chavis and you've seen the changes, you realize it was worth being brave and facing the fear you had at the beginning.
