I was very excited to learn there is a Methodist clinic very close to my house. Unfortunately, I dismissed the google reviews and still went, which was a complete waste of money. The PA was very nice but failed to recognizing my issue even though I told her. I expressed concern that my swollen eye and eye issues were connected to the staph in my nose which she dismissed. I came in at my appt time to be told my insurance had been declined. I could not do the out of pocket cost. It took me 15 min to lookup my updated insurance information. When I told them they said the grace period for my appt was over and they turned me away. I was not seen over 1 min delay. I found 0 regard for me being ill or for it taking me 30 min to arrive, they were not willing to make an exception for me to be seen over 1 min. Came in because my pcp was unavailable to see me. The doctor asked me what was going on , Sore throat, Hurting ears, And persistent cough that was had been going on for over eight days She looked in my ears in my throat, put the stethoscope to my chest, Said I was clear, Basically, that was it. There was nothing she could do ! She mentioned that my doctor had called in some cough medicine and that that should take care of it… I was in her presence for less than 60 seconds, And left there exactly the way I came in… Miserable…... read more
