Dr. Houng was awful. I only saw her since I was informed my PCP left the practice, and Dr. H had a very open schedule, I now can see why. She was cold, rude, and did little to nothing to attempt to help me. I had referrals to get help from a residential facility and a need to get labs drawn and establish care under a new PCP to make sure I was doing proper check ups. Tried to book an appointment but only if they accept medicare. They said they could not tell me until after I give them my full name, date of birth, ssn, address, phone #, billing info, medical reason, etc. Methodist policy. I was also informed there would be no way for me to contact the office directly EVER except through an online portal set up PRIOR to making the appointment and that all info on that portal would be shared with all staff at Methodist BEFORE I would be informed if they accept Medicare or become a patient. ... read more
I do not recommend coming to this office. Had an appointment with Dr. Ramzan on July 23rd, 2024 and did not like how it went with her. My experience with her was that I found her to be very dismissive with my concerns and ultimately not who I wanted to have as a PCP. That next day, I scheduled a transfer of care appointment with another doctor (Dr. Rose) in that same office for August 27th, 2024. I love Dr. Emono! She is a great doctor and takes time to listen to her patients. I have been seeing her for several years now and I am very happy!
Made an appointment with Ali Ahmed for July 5th in early June and did it through the online portal. Was notified my portion to pay was 265.55 and paid that on 6/27 and went to their office this morning and they stated they have no record of my appointment. I said I'm possible since you took my payment staff stated I needed to call my bank and get charges reversed. I did and the bank stated it could take up to 90 days to complete on the HSA card. I have never dealt with incompetent place like this.
