Dr. umah is always amazing! Now they have a lab in the same office to get your bloodwork done. Gabby did mine in less than a minute when it’s taken others multiple tries! Highly recommend!
Was going to be coming here as a new patient. Called last week to come in the following Monday. Looked on my Mychart app to see the receptionist scheduled me for March of NEXT YEAR. I called first thing in the morning and they didn’t apologize once. Couldn’t get me in same day. I switched my work schedule to come in and they didn’t really seem to care that they messed up and booked me a whole year from now. I cancelled my new appointment and found somewhere else to go who seemed more pleasant to speak with on the phone.
Dr. Okunnu is PHENOMENAL, however that front desk staff is something else. 9/10 my pressure is raised after speaking with them and I have to get it rechecked once I’ve calmed down. They’re incompetent beyond belief and lack empathy which I believe should be required for working in healthcare. Needless to say I will not be returning to this practice after today. Maybe if you aren’t a POC you’d be treated a little better by the front desk.
The arrival grace period should be extended for seniors. It takes a lot of time to get them ready and into the doctor’s office. I’m sorry for being later but you all need to really think when you send an elderly patient home for missing the time mark by just a few minutes.
I believe there are some unethical practices exists in this place. My insurance fully covers the annual physical exam but I got billed for annual exam. Also, they billed at a much higher rate and told insurance that it was a regular visit not annual exam.
