All of our sod comes from our family farm in Bay City, TX, and we've been growing top quality grass there since 1981. Very good service with competitive pricing, was very pleased with the quality of grass and timely delivery during all of the rain.
We can say enough positive things about Houston Grass or the installation team that performed the work. The quality of the grass was matched by that of the installation team. The sod was fresh (cut that morning, thick, and green. Omar and his team did an awesome job with the installation. They had to overcome multiple challenges from extreme heat, some unexpected heavy storms, as well as a relatively large amount of surface roots. I am throughly disgusted with ALL businesses that advertise products and services that they have no intention of delivering. I decided to share our ordeal, so hopefully you do not go through the same frustrations. After much planning and preparation for a backyard revitalization, we received delivery of “fresh” sod from another company (namely ** ** ** *********** in League City) two days ago. After 2 years of struggling with the sod laid down over construction debris and sand by our homebuilder we decided to either have a layer of sand or topsoil put over the existing grass or replace the grass. I really enjoyed working with Houston Grass South! We needed 6 pallets of grass delivered to our house, and they easily gave us a quote and scheduled the delivery over the phone. On the delivery day, the pallets of grass were delivered at the time they had communicated and placed in the location that we had requested.
