Called and made an appointment with Dr. Matthews. I asked the woman if they accepted my insurance. She said they did and took my insurance information and made my appointment. I took off work early to make it to my appointment. The woman that checked me in said she needed my insurance information. I gave her my card she looked at the card and said they don't accept this insurance. I explained to her that the woman I talked on the phone with assured me they did. I saw Dr. Spencer Mathews here for second toe drift and bunion issues. Dr. Mathews has great bedside manner - the best I have experienced in a doctor, actually. He is a great listener and takes the time to answer questions. He does not treat patients like they are a checkbox on his "to-do" list. I recommend Dr. Mathews if you are looking for a podiatrist.
