Restaurant week menu was fabulous. Do yourself a favor and order the mixed meat entree.
In all honesty, the service was kind of shitty. I think we've waited about an hour to be seated, the location itself was hard to find and our waiter at first seemed polite but when I told him my boyfriend had gotten the wrong thing, he insisted that THAT was what I ordered. I didn't want to sound or come off rude like him but I know what we had ordered (we sat at the table for nearly 45 min before we actually ate). we love Andes Cafe.. the best ecuadorian food in Houston. we feel like home :-)
Our only regret is that we didn’t discover Cafe Andres until now. Highly recommend letting Gus, a delightful server, walk you through the menu and suggest a sampling of dishes from Ecuador, Peru, and Colombia. The ceviche is the best we’ve found in Houston!
Great customer service. Good food. Laid back ambiance. I’ll definitely come back to try out more dishes. The empanadas are amazing.
