My hot water heater went out a few months ago. I didn't have the money to replace it. I was beside myself with worry. I went to housing resources to see if they could help. I had been on the waiting list for their weatherization program. Wendy and Kelly got to work with Mike Stout. I applied for a loan to get a new roof and the process is very long. There is absolutely little to no communication so you don’t know where you are in the process. After waiting over 3 months and having a huge hole in my ceiling I was finally told today I was denied due to having filed bankruptcy within the last 4 years which isn’t disclosed anywhere in the application process, had it been I could have saved 3 months of my time and not have this false hope thinking no news is good news.
