I agree with you, Kisha P. The Section 8 program is indeed a nightmare. It is poorly managed—very disorganized and unprofessional. I've been on the Section 8 waiting list for eight years and am still waiting for my name to reach the top. I am currently in the multi-family Basic project program, which is subsidized, but it is terrible. There are no decent senior apartments available under that program.
