I call them in July 2025 for an estimate to replace three large, fixed skylights in my family room. Tom Edson estimated the job and provided insurance certificates. He said it would take 6 to 8 weeks once approved to do the work. That was fine with me on September 8 Larry and three others came at 8:30 AM Helped move furniture away from under the skylights and laid plastic tarps in the family room. Just before Xmas our 35-year old Velux skylight was shattered the outer layer by a falling icicle. I phone Houseworks that morning, the sales/inspector checked out our need that afternoon. Installation estimate at least 4 weeks. It was installed just 3 weeks late. The work was finished in 5 hours. The small crew were very polite, efficient and helpful. Highly recommended!
Incredibly happy with our 2 solar powered skylights that replaced our very old, leaky ones. I think Lee and Seth did a fine job of actually installing two skylights in our vaulted living room ceiling (they look great!), but my problem was with the communication about the job and the length of time it took to finish. It started at the very beginning of the job. Despite me asking several times I never heard when they were going to arrive to begin the work and if there was anything I should be doing to prepare. I’ve just recently had my skylights put in Mark was my sales person very easy to deal with we discussed what needed to be done. They set up a date for me. They sent a reminder as to when they would be coming out and two very nice gentleman Julio and George came out to install my skylights, they’ve done a wonderful job. I went with them because they really only do skylights and I felt very confident with them. I would recommend them.
