I had a 1930 home inspected at the buyer’s request as part of an estate sale. I felt that the inspector was unfair as well as inaccurate. Homes built in 1930 should not be expected to meet present day construction standards. This leads to buyers expecting sellers to make “repairs” that should not be expected for the price of an older home. I would recommend HouseMaster to anyone. Not only were their prices fair but the service was very thorough. George was our inspector and he was very professional, and meticulous. He took the time to walk around the home with us and explain what he was seeing. The radon test was put in the home before the inspection date so we could get our results quicker.
