Inspector Deryck Whiteley from HouseMaster is very professional and does a great job. He uses an infrared camera to check for water behind drywall in basements, which give buyers a since of security.

HouseMaster Home Inspections of St. Louis West County was great. My realtor recommended Deryck Whiteley. When I showed up at the end of the inspection, he stopped what he was doing and took the time to go through the Inspection Resource Guide with me. I felt he did a very thorough inspection and the report was very detailed. At the home inspection some of the water wasn't turned on and there was no access to the attic. Very professional technician who thoroughly inspected the home and was able to easily explain all the aspects of the inspection. We gained valuable information about the current condition as well as the future maintenance needs of the home. Highly recommend - worth every penny!
Was very disappointed and overcharged. I saw the inspection done at the house I was selling and the one done by HouseMaster at the one I was buying. HouseMaster charged me $100 more and most of it was boiler plate. He said some windows were stuck but wouldn't name them when I asked. He couldn't tell me what kind of siding I had. I asked for a termite and radon inspection and the mark-up on them was high.. I will not use them again. Wes Villhard was the inspector.
