About this business

Featuring a good selection of meat and vegetarian dishes, this is one of the few Indian restaurants in the St. Louis area. Curry-seasoned rice with lentils, peas and Indian cheeses are among the vegetarian favorites. Non-vegetarians should try the prawn shish-kebab, spicy jumbo shrimp cooked in a tandoor oven, a traditional clay oven that is used to prepare a variety of fish and meats. After getting off work late we were informed that the kitchen closed at 830 on Sunday. We were goin to get our food to go but when the waiter heard that it was our sons first time eating indian food they graciously told us to sit and eat our meal. they didn't rush or Hoover and we were the last to leave.the waiter even offered to take a picture of us. we were so appreciative. good service like that is rare

Great Indian restaurant, we normally go in at lunch for the buffet, which is great value, and lots of choices. In the evenings you order from the menu, and it has a more intimate atmosphere. Staff are friendly and attentive and all in all it’s one we would recommend.

This is the first Indian restaurant I ever went to, about 18 years ago when I was just a sheltered kid raised on fast food and “American” cooking. 18 years later, and more than 18 other Indian restaurants later, it’s still the best!

Our go-to for great Indian dishes. We’ve been coming for years to eat in and carry out and we’ve never been disappointed. Keep up the great work!
