Today we took a take away order for paneer tikka and navratna thali and it was the worst decision. The portion size is too small compared to what the told us. They did not provided the dessert along the order and we trusted them blindly. We also asked to replace sambhar with dal which was missing even though they agreed. Also the overall service and food is bad. I don't recommend anyone visiting here. Seems to be over priced and hyped. Blindly trusting then and taking a take out order was a huge mistake.
TL;DR staff willingly wanted to not charge me the bill but I insisted I did not want free food. Sat down and then noticed all the bad reviews. Decided something freshly cooked might be safe. Ordered a dosa. This was one of the worst dosas I have ever had. It had mint chutney smeared inside and a huge portion of potato. Dosa had split into pieces with holes in it. Great food great service!
We love to come for the lunch or weekend dinner buffet. There is plenty of variety of good Indian food. We sat outside for the first time and it was a beautiful evening.
I rarely leave reviews, but my experience at House of India was genuinely appalling. The food was substandard, but the real issue is the owner, Srinu. I have never encountered someone so unprofessional and outright rude to paying customers. There are too many great Indian restaurants in the area to waste a single cent or a minute of your time here. Avoid at all costs.
