Love this place! – Every time I get my hair done at House of Hair, I walk out beaming and absolutely in love with the way my hair looks. The staff is friendly and conversational. You can tell that Lisa not only does hair for a living but that she loves styling hair and her first priority is that the customer is satisfied. They use a blend of expensive and inexpensive products that work well on OUR hair. I love the decor and ambiance as well. I have yet to be disappointed.

Price is worth the treatment – I have been a customer of House of Hair for years. I can honestly say that Lisa the owner knows about hair care. After my apt. was burgularized, my hair was falling out in chunks.. Through the treatments and cuts, my hair grew back healthy and thick. Unfortunately, a few of her stylists haven't been the greatest but as a smart business woman she has recruiting better talent. .

Save your money and go elswhere – I went to get a twist out on my natural hair but I still had some straight ends from an old relaxer. Long story short she used the $3 brown ampro gel and didn't roll up my straight ends to match the waves of the twist out. My hair looked like black iciscles at the end! Not to mention all the nasty brown flakes on my shoulders. She said it'd be $15 extra to curl it (on top of the $110 I was already paying). 1st Impressions say alot – I found House of Hair on City Search and decided to give it a try. I called to make a consultation appointment for that evening and the receptionist was very polite and informative about the services and prices. I was running late for my appointment (10 to 15 mins) and called the salon to let them know and I was still advised to come in. Wait for more reviews before going for the first time! – I was in need of a perm and needed it done asap. I called, they took me last minute and when I got there they were very pleasant. I was greeted with a smile from the stylist assigned to me (Dee). Dee was very pleasant and very professional but her overall look and vibe said "don't get excited-I'm not that good" and she really isn't. She permed the hell outta my hair and that's it.
