If you value your time, dignity, and mental health, think twice before committing to this place. The program’s pacing is glacial—literally taking multiple weeks just to cover a single “session”—and even then, you might not get a chance to speak. Dehumanizing & Negligent Treatment—A Facility That Fails Its Most Vulnerable My experience at House of Friendship has left me deeply disillusioned, and my review has been updated to reflect my experiences. While the organization presents itself as a place of care and rehabilitation, my time there revealed a troubling disregard for patient dignity, continuity of care, and ethical responsibility. Upon my discharge, my essential, life-sustaining medications—including my HIV treatment—were withheld without explanation or a plan ... read more
