Northern Chinese Cuisine The House of China is one of our favorite places to eat. The food is Northern Chinese style and is consistently very good. The portions are large for lunch and dinner. I love the egg drop soup, it is unlike any other that I have ever eaten. The service is good. There is a full bar and they also deliver. The Yuan family who owns the restaurant are very friendly and try hard to please the customers. They also own a restaurant is Galena, Illinois.
