i bought my wedding dress and veil back in november and was told my veil was going to be ready by april. i have called every month from april-july and the latest update is that they never even ordered it. thank god my dress was made to leave that day because i have a feeling i wouldnt even have my wedding dress and it’s the week of my wedding. do not recommend, you will be nonstop on the phone playing phone tag trying to get someone to give you an answer on your purchase.
Do not put your hope and trust into this company. My best friend is a bride to be and has enough to worry about that comes with planning a wedding and they dont even have her dress ready with the wedding being 2 weeks away. They do not answer or return calls. They have no idea where her dress is in the process of shipping from the "designer". Complete horrible experience and no one has a clue what they are doing there. DO NOT DRESS SHOP HERE
If I could give this place less than one star I totally would. Finding my dress was a dream come true. I ordered back in February. The lady who helped me put a much sooner date down to ensure my dress would arrive on time. I was told it would arrive in July. Absolutely awful. Do not trust House of Brides in Lombard. If I could give zero stars, I would. This was hands-down one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. I strongly urge you to avoid House of Brides in Lombard, no matter how many positive reviews you may read — let me walk you through my experience. Horrible experience, on March 10, 2024 we ordered my granddaughters dress and paid the 75% down. Charged my card, It is now May 18th 2025 and dress has not arrived with the wedding 5 weeks away. We were told it would be in December, January, February, March, April and now May. Will not provide the date the actually ordered the dress nor a tracking number for the delivery. I even contacted corporate with no response. This is a nightmare.
