RecommendedFinding a good home-based therapist is difficult. I can not tell you how many home-based therapist have been sent to our home (we are foster parents) and did not show up as scheduled, was significantly late, just fell off the face of the earth for weeks at at time, could not build an rapport with the child, questioned them instead of providing therapy etc. I am so happy that we were sent a therapist from this place. We used House Calls Counseling for several years, and could not have been happier! Our first therapist, Chris, quickly became part of the family, helping our son work through his adoption story while giving us invaluable tools to help us with his behavior. Later, we saw Billy on a bi-monthly basis. He helped our son get through school-related, as well as personal, transitions which can be very difficult for children with RAD.
