This place was one of the highlights of our trip to the Greenville area. Hands down the best food we ate and the flight style menu was such a great concept. The entire waitstaff was excellent and super personable. "Chef G"(Guichard) stopped by each table personally and checked in on the dining experience and was a delight to chat with. We would make the trip from Maine again just to visit this restaurant. The chicken basquaise might be the best chicken dish I've ever eaten and the peach cobbler was insane!
One of the best hidden gems in the Upstate! Cannot say enough good things about House 509. The food is excellent. Flavors paired masterfully, quality ingredients, attention to detail. My wife and I decided that we needed a date night and she had heard about House 509, so we decided to make a reservation and check the place out. All I can say is that place is absolutely amazing ! The service is impeccable, the food was incredible, and the place is just beautiful! The chef/owner came to our table and personally thanks us for being there and after finding out it was our first time he made my wife and I feel welcome and appreciated!
We had a wonderful meal for our 54th anniversary. Chef came to the table and was great. First time going and definitely will be back. Met a wonderful young couple and they ended up paying for our meal. If they read this review we want them to know that we were greatful. We were so impressed by them. Great parents!!!
Loved it! Was there with my husband to celebrate my B-day. Chef G is very personable and made us feel welcomed and special. He gave me a slice of his award winning cheesecake on the house which was delicious . We'll be back!
