If you contemplating buying a home with Hour Homes, I suggest you do the following: 1. Do not occupy premises until you inspect the construction. 2. Hire an independent home inspector to tour the house with you. 3. Record and ensure you send all issues to Hour Homes before your 1 yr warranty expires. It must be sent, or they will not help you. Lastly, and this is my recommendation based on my experience with Hour Homes, go with Atlantic home builders. Their product and subdivisions reflect a more detailed oriented focus.
Do not go with Hour Homes. Craftsmanship and attention to detail is a real issue. Landscaping of lots is bare minimum approach coupled with poor planning and quality of work. Corners are cut and oversight is nonexistent.
