Dr Houghton did a colonoscopy and endoscopy for some ongoing gastro issues. I was so nervous the day of the procedure, but that morning Dr. Houghton spoke with me and asked if I had any questions or concerns. He has such a great bedside manner and made me feel calmer!!! I wish all physicians took the time with all their patients!! He even came in after the procedure and spoke with my family and answered all their questions!! I would highly recommend him!! Such an excellent doctor!!
Dr. Houghton is a fabulous specialized physician. Throughout the series of appointments I have had with him, I have noticed he posses these excellent professional qualities: he is very attentive to detail, calm (which helps with my nervousness), knowledgeable (you can tell he definitely knows his “stuff” and keeps up on the most up to date techniques, medicine, treatment, education, etc), empathic (he listens to me—he is engaged and interested in my problems.
