She pays her aides only $8.25 an hour (Comfort Keepers pay their aides $10.25 an hour, Home Instead pay their aides $9 an hour). Obviously she takes advantage of her employees by under paying them and over charging the clients'. Secondly, the owner has a history of failing and refusing to pay some of her former workers. The ladies at Houck Home Care and Cleaning took care of my mother and did a wonderful job. The owner was very compassionate to my families needs. They were extremely flexible and were able to help me out in an emergency. If they were not able to repond the way they did my mother would not have lived as long as she did. I would use this company again, and highly recommend them.
