RecommendedAmazing company with great products.
Had a locomotive with autostart problems causing the unit to not restart. The Hotstart APU had been disabled for summer, so the locomotive batteries discharged to a point they couldn’t start the locomotive. Restarted the Hotstart APU, let it run for a little over 2 hours and voila! Batteries recharged to a level allowing the locomotive to be restarted. Benefit of the Hotstart APU is providing battery charging independent of the locomotives systems.
