Hotel Zindel was the best stay! Perfectly located near restaurants and bars. Little Italy was amazing walking the streets, trying local dishes, and enjoying the nightlife was a highlight. Stephanie at the front desk was friendly, bubbly, and super attentive. Loved the complimentary weekend wine too! Can’t wait to come back!

Location: very near by the little Iitaly so very convenient to walk. Service: it is not a hotel. It is hostel. Don't expect super high range of service. Just minimum. Room : we had a suite, it is located in bottom of the building, Room #1, don't go in. Super humid place. All pillows and blankets are feel like wet towel. It was my first time staying here. I absolutely loved everything about my stay at Hotel Zindel. I lived in Little Italy for five years so it’s my old neighborhood. My deluxe king room was awesome. Very comfortable bed, big tv, great kitchenette with awesome coffee maker and selection of coffee. I work nearby in Old Town San Diego so this was a staycation. Brought my bike for transportation so I could zip around town. Loved it so much I am staying again tomorrow.
I was very surprised with the quality and the price, I got a deal on Expedia and only paid $50 for one night. It was beautiful, quiet, and it was nice once you turned on the A/C and huge fan above the bed, the private bathroom was clean with modern but classic look to it and was very beautiful all around. Outside the room there was the main entrance with their waterfall and off to the side a lounge area with complimentary snacks a coffee station ready to go for those that need to get out early and fast like me for flights.
