Avoid this hotel. Definitely doesn’t qualify as a 3-star hotel. The front desk lady hated her job and was rude to guests. The room was poor quality — the walls were paper-thin, the window was single-pane and couldn’t close tightly. You could hear everything from the courtyard, hallway, and neighbors. If you are interested in Hotel Zico, I recommend booking one night first so you can run away without losing too much money.

The walls are extremely thin and the guests are very noisy. This place is so overpriced it's a joke. They are remodeling the hotel and the rooms are cleaner, but the staff are the real problem. They cluster people right next to each other even when there are less than ten guests in the hotel. It's a sign of poor management and inconsiderate staff. I had stayed at Zico before and not had any issues. It is currently under renovation though. Posted signs say renovations happen between 9:30-5:30 Mon-Sun. It's currently 8:30am, and they have already started, just like they did yesterday. Also, despite it being illegal to do permitted work on Sundays in the city of Mountain View, there were workers here. They clean room only every 4 days. The reception offered to change it to every day but that never happened. Upon asking again, the lady told me that cleaners prioritize those rooms for checkout and often they don’t have time left to clean any other rooms.
