Good hotel, clean rooms, excellent water pressure in the shower. Very conveniently located near Albany airport.
Fortunately, I’m only staying one night at this hotel. Checked in at 5 o’clock. Room is on the freeway side of the building so has quite a lot of traffic noise. Shower faucet is dripping and can’t be shut off. I’m a light sleeper so called to ask the front desk if I could switch rooms. They said unfortunately, all of the rooms had been assigned. If you need a shuttle to or from the airport I would recommend staying at another hotel down the road. We received different information from every staff member working there on whether a shuttle would be available to pick us up and had to find our own way to the hotel after flying into the Albany airport. The room was run down for Hilton standards and the A/C leaked so much water on the floor that we had to put down a towel. Looked like an ongoing issue that no one has addressed based on the condition of floor.
Great stay... I'm in a Hilton every week of my life, this is a great property. I am sitting at another Hilton property for the first time in NY watching the owner/manager walk around and talk to the regulars ignoring all others... when I was at the albany Trilogy two weeks ago for the first time, the owner came up to me three different times through my stay including late evening dinner and breakfast to talk to me... class act.
