The hotel isn't a great location surrounded by restaurants and a Safeway supermarket. The area is clean and safe. The room is generally clean and new as well so that's nice. The biggest negative would be the climate control unit which is very very loud when it turns on, at times waking me up at night. Another big letdown is the breakfast. Not much offered. NEVER STAY HERE UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR CAR VANDALIZED. I parked in the plaza parking lot assigned by the hotel with a parking permit for just one night and my driver-side mirror was stolen. They don't care what happened.
I stayed at Hyatt House Santa Clara for 60days while relocating. The staff and service is really good.
You have to pay a daily parking garage overnight fee which was 17.00. For the price of the room it should be included.
If your flight might be delayed, think twice before booking this hotel through Booking.com. My flight was delayed, so I contacted the hotel and Booking.com to request a late check-in. Booking said the hotel was responsible, the hotel said Booking canceled — neither side notified me. My room was given away, and I was charged $500 for nothing.
