This trip started out bad. I booked a street view slightly larger room as described on their website. They tried to give me a closet with a bed and no windows. After complaining they switched me to a courtroom window view room. Not what I reserved, and still the smaller room size. nerd ever. This has been on my list of must go to hotels for the longest time. Why? The original opening scene was filmed here. See? I said nerd i have been to the quarter quite a few times and we've stayed at many different hotels. Then I found out about this place when I was researching my places to check out that was connected to filming of the show and it was quickly added to my list. Hotel Royal is absolutely beautiful. The staff here are very kind and helpful. The location is perfect. My experience at this hotel was excellent.
