The pictures and reviews online are misleading. This hotel, at least our room was very rundown and old. The ac did not do much to keep the room comfortable enough. The shower had very old mildewed tile and the bed in our room sank in the middle like it was sitting on a broken frame. Thin walls and noise from the road. We checked out and moved a day early. One positive, the staff was great.
I stayed here back in Feb 25’ and left some slippers and heels. Hotel Rose in Portland kept my items safe and sound for nearly 6months! Clean rooms, pup friendly and great staff. They have become our permanent Portland stop for overnights.
Great little hotel to stay at. Convenient location, great staff. Amazing hotel if you're bringing a pet.

Room smelled of mildew and smoke. Paint in bathroom was starting to bubble from water damage. Not cleaned well... trash under the nightstand. Bedding, decor, fixtures, fittings seemed dingy and overused... though these were clean. Bed not comfortable - which is unusual as we have stayed here many times previously and always loved the bed... this suggests either a change in mattress quality or that the mattress was like the rest of the place... tired and overused.
