Recommend Have stayed here a few times. It's an older building but my room was clean & the staff was very friendly. I Like the pool-side room!
Westport Inn is kid friendly and fun e stayed here for my son's 9th birthday. It was great fun and easy to get to. The staff couldn't be nicer and the pool was set with tables around so you could easily bring some pizza and soda and eat. the rooms could use an update but to swim in the dead of winter- a star!
Good hotel if you just need a place to sleep This hotel is located on Fremont St. in Monterey. Fremont is the major business thoroughfare so don't expect romantic views or the sound of the ocean at night. If you just need a base of operations to enjoy all that the Monterey area has to offer I would recommend this hotel. If your looking for a romantic weekend, stay somewhere else. Rooms were clean and parking was adequate.
Nice hotel This is a Nice hotel convenient to the highway and the ocean. The room rates were reasonable as we went in the fall. Nice rooms and located close enough to towns to have things to do.
A bit overpriced/ a bit wild on weekends A beautiful hotel but a bit overpriced for my taste. I ordered four bagels and they charged $12! My room was very cozy and the view was nice. However, they need to have more control over their parties. There were drunk people all over the place. Not the most family friendly place on weekends.
Location... Great location. This hotel is nice and clean and you are so close to the beach. The prices are reasonable, but do go up in the summer. If you book early you can get a pretty good rate.
Tremendous Place Stay here occassionally on business and for pleasure. Great room, club/lounge and the biggest hot tub I've ever seen. The room service food is the best. They use to have Champaigne nights on Sundays but I don't know if that is still going.
Historic Property I am very excited about this property. The historic building is full of charm, and the staff is very friendly and accomodating. The owner has huge plans to invest in improvements, so expect this hotel to get better with time!
OK Stay Rooms ok, the people working were great! They gave us ideas of local things to do which were helpful. Wireless was not working or bad signal. I would stay again but there are better places.
