Do not stay here. As soon as you get out of the lift on the accommodation level the stench of stale urine will hit you in the face. Cockroaches galore in the corridors and I mean the huge brown Queensland-sized guys. Room key card keeps failing. Got locked out of my room half dressed tonight and when I went off got told to watch my language lol. It’s a lovely old building with a lot of history and the location is great but seriously, until this place changes hands and is shown some love, DO NOT STAY HERE. It is feral.
Horrible. For $200 plus a night I’d expect a hell of a lot better. The room was just disgusting. Photos of the rooms are click bait. I’d rather sleep in the car. Avoid this hotel at all costs. One star is being overly generous.
