Nice location near to town. Awful beds with audible bed spring groans every time you roll over ( I weigh 165#s). The bar was decently appointed and staff was friendly.
I wouldn't recommend staying at this Hotel. The rugs are probably 20 years old & require carpet cleaning. The TV service constantly goes off and on. Don't bother trying to charge your cell phone in the room. Front desk and restaurant employees are mostly nice. One front desk representative is a bit condescending with an attitude. ⁰ And one bartender rushes you to get your order in, because he wants to leave on time. Mattresses are too firm and uncomfortable. No privacy or room darkening curtains. Outdated wall art. Tv is nothing fancy.
Hotel Personnel are friendly and professional. Although somewhat dated, I have always found the hotel to be clean and in good order. The restaurant, bar, and outside seating adds to a comfortable stay. I believe that its best attribute is location. I work in the city, just 25 minutes south. It is nice to take the short drive and get out of the city. Plenty of restaurants, walks, short scenic drives.
We have been here one night so far but everything has been great so far! Friendly staff, complimentary water bottle at check in and a breakfast buffet this morning.
